What I’m exploring
AI is changing how we work. It is also beginning to change how we meet. That is what I am exploring right now.
I am an AI keynote speaker and TEDx speaker, and I bring business leaders together through 2039 AI. Beyond speaking engagements, I explore how AI affects our decisions, our communities and our relationships.
From personal assistants to real-world connections
EXPERIMENT IN PREPARATION
I am preparing an experiment: connecting personal AI assistants to see whether they can help their users make interesting connections in real life.
The question goes beyond the quality of a recommendation. What does an assistant need to know to suggest a meeting? What information are we willing to share? And how much room can we give it without giving up the decision ourselves?
The project is at the preparation stage. I do not have results to share yet. The idea is to explore these questions with volunteers, using information they choose to share, while keeping the final decision human.
Three conversations worth having
01 · COMMUNITIES
Who is missing from the table?
Bringing similar people together is fairly straightforward. Creating a conversation between people with different experiences is harder. Through 2039 AI, I explore what turns a network of contacts into a community. Could assistants help us discover different circles, rather than reinforce the ones we already belong to?
02 · THE FUTURE OF WORK
What happens to the time we save?
As AI takes on more of our tasks, the questions become social too: the place of work in our lives, the value of effort, and how time and income are shared. These questions inform my talks and conversations. They deserve more than a ready-made prediction about which jobs will disappear.
03 · BOXING
What can resistance teach us?
Boxing is also part of my experience. It opens up another conversation about effort, attention and confrontation. As digital tools remove friction, what do we gain by keeping activities where progress takes time and we encounter real resistance?
Making room for disagreement
A useful experiment should be able to challenge its starting idea. For the one I am preparing, a question remains open: what if our assistants made us less curious about other people? That is an objection to investigate, not a detail to work around.
